I bought myself an early Xmas present this week. Pentax DA 35mm f2.4. They call it the "plastic wonder". I bought this lens because of the sparkling reviews on Pentax Forums. I have had the lens in my grubby little paws for a few
hours now and I can see that this lens will be on my camera a lot! This is my first AF prime lens and I can say that I am damn impressed. I got home tonight and dropped everything and opened my box from B&H Photo immediately.
Here are a few photos straight out of the box. All shot at iso 200 and f2.4 handheld.

It's not a macro lens.

The dollar bill shot looks really close? At most half a foot?

It might have been closer than that. And that is a full frame shot, no crop on that pic. Not too shabby for a $169 lens!
