Do we have a pg amp guts thread on here anywhere?

I just tried registering on amp guts and was not successful... To many sites stuck together, just kept redirecting me to a classifieds site.

Can we put something together on this phorum that is easy to navigate?

Funny, with the collectors on here, as a group we should have everything PG has ever made for retail and some one off customs...

What exactly did you want to see?

Im putting a simple system in my work beater and wanted to compare the rsd line and tantrum line against each other.

I guess most of us are familiar with the guts of pg amps or we would already have something set up

It would be nice to set something up in the faq section broke down by amp lines with just pictures of guts. With all the guys on here we could have all the pics we need within a day or two.

...just an idea

The best I can do is a moderated forum with one topic per amp...

I think I liked the RSD layout over the tantrums. I also have had a few mishaps with a 500.4 and 500.2 tantrum where the output fets needed to be changed on the 500.2 and one channel on the 500.4 cuts out randomly. Also, a friend with a pair of RSD 1200.1s playing hard for hours and they've never cut out, thermaled or hinted at an issue. They're even mounted away from any cool air supply...

x2, RSD line is WAY better than Tantrum. It's up there with the Ti series, minus the monster A/B sub amps and the versatile crossovers.

X3 never had any problems with any of my RSD amps, the man who designed the MS line was in on the design of the RSD's
