Welcome to our little forum, and piece of heaven as I like to think of it.

PG does not release Schematics as they offer in house service here in the states for reasonable prices.
If you PM me of post some pics of the damaged areas, I will try to be of help :) .

1moreamp is a champ. If you can get pictures of the insides, I am sure he can at least take a good stab and give you some ideas on what you can do.

And welcome!

Hi milleniaboy,

I need close up high res pics of the board 1 of the power supply section <fets and transformer fuse area's>.
and 1 of each channel are as they are mirror images of each other.

Your scratchy sound is caused by blown fuse resistors that act as current limits so when a owner does the unthinkable the amp safety design comes into play to save the investment you made in this product. This is something you WILL NOT SEE on any other car amp I have ever seen in my many years of working on these types of amps. I LOVE PG and their protective Engineering...

I will be shipping Vin's two M-50's and a M-25 back to him today, so I know what they should look like inside, I guess, and with your detailed Pics I will save to my desktop and blow up to inspect the amp more closely as I would on my bench.
The only difference is I will will be sending you detailed instructions as to perform certain tests with a digital meter to gather information for me.

Armed with that accurate info and your accurate pics I will walk you thru the amp.
Now I hope I have been a bit clearer about helping you, as unless you want to ship the amp to me, this is the only way I can help you :) :) :)

If you prefer you can PM me and we can exchange e-mail address's and carry this on in private mail if you like, as it will get a bit wordy

So think about your options and LMK how you want to proceed and we will do our best to get you squared away and listening to music again instead of teching out amps for your spare time. Either way you will be getting very familiar with your PG amp, and most probably will never need anymore tech help after we are done  :) :) :)
