Mood I am in....
Lately I have been in a Beatles kind of mood as I find myself listening to them more and more.
I guess I should get off my ass and complete my catalog.

I cant stand the beatles OR the rolliing stones.
Dont be suprised, I just think theyre a bit on the shit side is all.
There are so many much better bands that have come out of the UK and the US has no idea who they are.. Shame really

Infact it isnt because their music isnt angry enough. I just think they were over hyped and over rated tbh.

To name four. They are all better than the beatles. I can upload a couple of songs if you want.
Never heard of "The Jam" or "The Style Council" but "Oasis" and "The Stone Roses" I have heard. All I can say is "The Stone Roses" were a one hit wonder which I can't think of the song I liked of theirs at this point and "Oasis" made it to the US hits list just like the other shit that shouldn't be considered for publishing that some how every one thinks is the best thing since sliced bread.
Sorry I'm not a fan of the music that is whiny sounding, and usually if it makes it main stream that is how it is.
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

The Jam was led and founded by Paul Weller. So was the Style Council. He then went on to be a solo artist, platinum all three. Now thats impressive !VW337 wrote: Never heard of "The Jam" or "The Style Council" but "Oasis" and "The Stone Roses" I have heard..
The Stone Roses were FAR from one hit wonders, but the only track to have become popular over here was "Fool's Gold" which is the track at the end of the movie Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
They do sound very whiny on some of their tracks but that's their style. Remember, it was a new style then, called Indie. It isnt rock !
Here, one of my fave Style Council songs. Titled "Walls come tumbling down" made and released when the german wall was smashed down

I personally like the Beatles, I am not a fanatic or anything though. For the Genre of music, they were a pretty amazing band. The Rolling Stones are alright, I like a couple of their songs, but all their music seems to sound the same after afterwhile, its sort like AC/DC.

I can get in one of those moods where I want to listen to the Beatles. Sometimes I get in the mood to listen to the Rolling Stones too. Not really a big fan of either though.
As for the bands Pandy mentioned, the only one I have heard of is Oasis. My wife kinda likes them, but at least she has the courtesy to shut them off when I am in the room.
