Headed to Amsterdam for the holidays!

Post by dedlyjedly »

I just got the flight booked and most of the details all worked out, so I'm off to Europe for Christmas and New Years! Thanks again to Mastiff for helping me out with the airline tickets :!: I owe you big time Jim.

My sister lives in Amsterdam and is planning most of the itinerary, but just wanted to get some suggestions for things to do from those of you that are from those parts or have been there. I'm going to be there for two weeks so I should be able to get a lot done.

Well, early tomorrow I'm off to The Netherlands! The whole trip will be great I'm sure, but I'm really looking forward to my birthday on New Year's eve in Amsterdam! :hurr: I hear it's quite a spectacle. I should be able to check in once or twice while I'm over there but just in case I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a fun and safe New Year.

I'll catch you on the flipside.....Peace.

I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

She says make sure you check out the Van Gogh museum, the windmills, and the cheese factory. Those are a few of the things she did there. Also, she says make sure to take a trip to the Red Light District, it's something you have to see while your there! And for New Years make sure to go to the Damn Square, she was there for New Years and said it was a blast!! She also said something about Madam Tussaod's wax museum, don't ask!!

Drop in for a drink at a place down in the "District" called "The Last Watering Hole".
It's owned by an retired Canadian soldier.
He'll take care you for sure.
Another kewl visit, especially with the wife, is the Sex Museum.
Enjoy..............
The only stupid question is the one not asked .......
