Is it so hard to send a friggin' email!!

Why can't people communicate? Why would they say they'll buy something from you, express their delight in finding such a rare piece, and then fall off the face of the planet, stringing you along for weeks, waisting your time and effort?

This is insanely frustrating...especially when the financing for your current car audio undertaking is hinging on the sale of that certain item...but as they say, anything worth doing probably won't be easily done, and good things come to those who wait.

But to those left me in the lurch ...PISS OFF.

by the way...this wasn't for anyone on this forum...you all are legit, and Im glad to have found a legit, and knowledgable group of audio folk.

It seems to happen more often than not lately. Unless I know the person personally or they have fantastic feedback (like most people here) it's first one who pays gets the item in my book. It sucks that this kind of thing happen, but such is part of life now I'm afraid.

Ya I agree with Tibbs, I usually give a little to the folks here tho...especially if I have done business with them before. I usually give them some time...I ask when they can pay or are they sure they really want it...If they want it I will nost post anything up for sale (about that item etc) and usually trust that they will do as they say they will. If I have not had good contact and have not had firm comittment, I will usually tell the person a Down payment is nice for holding the item etc...and usually at that time payment gets down pretty quick...and I wont have to worry bout the downpayment.
Anyway just makes it easier to show you who's serious....or not serious.

Sorry for the bad luck. Hope you get/got your item sold finally? or at least were finally able to move on?

Can't tell you how many times that has happened to me on caraudio.com/forum.

I thought I had two items sold for sure recently....they said "consider it sold"...guess what, not interested anymore...

I've been selling stuff long enough that I know it happens...I guess I just wish people were more dependable. I was brought up to do what you say your going to do. Finish your commitments, because if people cant trust you, well...they can't trust you. "let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no" its biblical, and common courtesy. thanks to all you who know how its done. Happy to be in good company.
