2 ti elites with sq cone and 2 ti elites with spl cone
damn that would be a very loud car,sq cones for low bass and spl cones for midbass

if you want a flat response in the sub frequencies then you'd do best to stick with a sealed box. at that point, you either add more power or more subs to get the output level up to your needs.

Agreed. The ported setups will be louder, but won't play the same volume on each note. A lower tuning frequency will help it play a little flatter though, compared to a high one.

well my take on sealed, screw that.
ill run ported and just play with tuning.
sorry to you sealed lovers but after having tried it and trying to live with it,
i just couldnt convert.
i tried it many times in my lifetime and just really dont like it
dont get me wrong, it sounded smooth and very detailed but just
lacked the low end i was after.
other then that and high bass sounded off alittle i will probably
build one agian in the future for my wife (to save space)

Acoustic Suspension Baby!!!
No really, ported has it's place too, I was just pointing out that sealed enclosures are best for flat response across the entire bottom octave.
But...I can't give up the output for some music either. Hence the plan for a pair of elite12d's sealed.

Contact Phil at PG. IIRC they had some left, but it has been awhile now.
