I really dont know what to think about these. Im enjoying the tweeters, as a new component set intrigues me. The (what I assume to be) high excursion SPL subwoofer really turns me off though. How many more SPL woofers do we need in the market? Im wondering how well the ti elite did? I know that this is all decided by marketing, but I would really love to see their statistics...

I have really been holding my tongue on this thread, but I just cant do it any more. Ill save my other comments till im more sober.

I'm looking to replace my 2 amps (I'm keeping them) and my front speakers.

Any chance on a 3-way comp set?

Eclipse's 3-ways are looking really good to me right now, but I can wait a while still.

Larger drivers (15"+) and three ways systems we are seriously looking at, but they will not be in the first wave of products released.

High excursion is not just for SPL, there are many high roll surround subs that excel in SQ also. I personally would love to see an overbuilt 8" with high excursion capability. Such a driver (like my 8" Audiopulse Epic I currently use) takes up very little space & belts out lows like a woofer twice its size.

I think this thread is awesome, and exciting to see what comes next.

1 thing I might add, is the popularity of the ti lineup of amps. To this day these amps still sell for top dollar, everyone loves the raw materiality of the chassis and the impossible to miss but instantly recognizable tri-led glow. A reiteration of this design would surely go far. Hell, this entire forum was designed around it.

Morgan,

This weeks images are due for a recall, you're just showing us current product. The First is an RSdC sub and the second actually looked like a Xenon tweeter, but is if was an RSd tweeter where did the felt damping go?

No recalls... Sneak peeks will get juicier as we march towards CES...

Look closely at the cone/surround, the shape and how it terminates. There is something going on there...

Tweeter has nothing to do with Xenon dome...

I don't understand the enthusiasm here. The amp pic shows a typical Korean engineered layout, nothing unique.

The RSD amps, in comparsion, are unique.
