With Xenons, do it. They like a hot input signal... you can feed them 10v if you like
I'll bet your decks 4v is really closer to 2v anyways.

yes. i also ran 4volt kenwoods. this difference was pretty drastic
xenons will actually take up to 13volts rms
im running about 10v to mine currently and they responded very well to it
my ex-girlfriend said "its car audio or me"
i've had tougher choices at a soda machine...
