The built quality of the current Ryval Amps is really good, very clean work. You can really see and feel the very good quality control. It has some non obvious, but very well thought out details, for example the mounting legs and the fixing of the daughter PCBs inside.

But the design of the heatsink with the iron cross is terrible, in Germany only Neo-Nazis like the design.

Also the current crossover features are a problem, since virtually all other brands offer variable highpass-crossover. Why don't you offer a second potentiometer, so that you can combine high- and low-pass filter to create a bandpass crossover and with a high-pass starting at 20 Hz you also get a subsonic filter, which is, in my eyes, a really senseful feature for all kind of car-audio amplifiers. I cannot imagine that the additional costs would be that high. Of course, such a crossover would be fine for the RSd line.

That's funny... the first thing I said to myself when I saw the iron cross logo was that "the German customers aren't going to like that!"

I'm another who's not so keen on the current styling side of things.

Other than that though, how about a x10 or x20 switch with a variable x-over so you could use the amps to build a full active system without the need for external processors.

Full bandpass Linkwitz-Riley x-overs would be great, but they're not really the kind of thing that goes on entry level equipment.

This is a wishlist, though.

But for next-gen RSd a more versatile crossover would be really attractive!

That is what I was thinking. So strike my prior post for the ryval series and cast it towards a possible future RSD topic. :)

Roland, I have yet to see a demo peice on my door step. This is what I would like to see in the Ryval line....hint hint nudge nudge.

Batman logo to the trash. I suggest adding the model line and model# in one corner and Phoenix Gold in the opposite.

variable HP is a must in the multi-channels.

top mount controls and all connections on one side would be nice but i know that would require a complete board rework.

Maybe a slight color change to indicate immediately that something is different, such as dark grey in place of black, or a bit of gloss or metal flake. Mix it up a bit. End-plates clear-coated raw metal w/black screening.
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.
