TLD66 Troubleshoot

im in some serious need of help right now, i just purchased a TLD66 line driver to run to my PG Ryval8001 and PG Octan R8.0:4 but it doesnt seem to be working. I ran the power/ground/remote wire using 18ga wiring and it powers up fine, i then ran my RCA from my deck to the input side of the line driver and the output was ran into the input for my monoblock amplifier but my sub doesnt work:S i tried using a different connection on the linedriver but none of them work!!! No matter how i adjust the internal gains on the line driver or the gains on my amp it doesnt work....once in a while my subwoofer will pop but thats all the sounds it makes.... and after a few minues o trying the line driver started to smoke:| any ideas on what could have caused any of this or how to wire the line driver correctly if i did something wrong or on how to get it to work:(
