DD5/DD10 powering fans?

Post by Audiophiliac »

Just wondering how to connect fans to the DD5 or DD10 so they turn on when the system is turned on. I tried quickly before when I had a DD5 and a fan, and could not get it to switch. I did not try very long as I did not need fans in that install....but curious now.

my DD5 powers 2 fans with no issues. As he said all you should need is the remote wire to power them, and then ground the other side. Check the current pull of the fans to make sure you are not pulling greater then 5A
