Bridging Phoenix Gold Titanium 500x4 to one sub

Post by dfa59 »

I want to run my Phoenix Gold as a sub amp only to one sub. I can configure it to run front speakers and a sub but how do you configure it to run just one sub?

Does your sub have a single or dual voice coil?

If it's a DVC, bridge chs 1 and 2 to one coil and bridge chs 3 and 4 to the other coil. Then use a DMM to set the gains to match each other. We'll get to that topic when we hear further from you.

If it's a single coil, you'll just have to leave 2 of the chs (either 1 and 2 or 3 and 4) unused.
