Amp serial numbers

Do the amplifier boards have the serial number etched onto them or is the serial number purely on the bottom of the case on the sticker? The reason I ask is because the sticker on the bottom of my MAC 500 that I just got is completely unreadable, however on the board in one corner it's got the number 50008, I wasn't quite sure if PG would have gone to the extent of serialising each board individually, I wouldn't have thought they would.

Every MAC500 has a number higher than 50000! So yours is one for sure! And every board has a sticker with the serial on it. Just the ones somebody peeled it off of come without
