Xenon X5.0 Comp set on deck power?

Hey gang. I was looking for some 6x9's for my accord install, but teamradrz reminded me that the xenon 5's have 6x9 adapters. I have a set BNIB, but am worried about the power. they claim 150w rms, 300max. I know that they can take it for sure b/c I had some 6.5's on a xenon x200.4. I have a Kenwood X994 rated at 50w max, 22rms.....

I mean the back speakers are supposed to be 'rear fill only' anyways, right? Should I give them a try, or will I be wasting my time? Should I just be looking for some 50W rms 2 way 6x9's?
