what would be a fair trade?

Post by ttocs »

a freshly recapped MQ430 with a plexi bottom for a ZX600Ti that is in a little rough shape? I though the mq's had been catching $200-250 depending but the used zxti's dont seem to fetch much more then 200 in good shape? What is your opinions, we were curious. The 600 would work better for me then the 430 would so it would work for me, and he wants a good 4 channel amp so it should work out.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

I've seen a few 600Tis for about $100-150 in my area. I have 2 nice ones and was considering a trade with you when you were contemplating another amp or a ZX400. It seems like people are going crazy for the bigger MS amps and I really had only seen one MQ for sale lately. I would keep the MQ (because I collect versus using them, hehehe) and sell or trade something else for the ZX600.

If I didn't plan on using both 600TIs, I'd trade you pretty quick. But since I just picked up some 8s for my doors, I'll have to wait until another 600TI goes up for sale around here.

On a side note, maybe try the roadster for the front stage and the subs then decide if you need more power for the 9s and add a smaller amp for the rears..??

I guess to answer your topic question, trade and ZX600 owner pays for all shipping. Only downside is that you want the other amp and are at the other party's mercy, hehehe....

that is what I thought but I didn't want to go overboard. What do you think a 600Ti would go for in fair condition? I know that they currently range on the bay for less but not really sure how much. I have never really been a collector just because my current financial situation doesn't allow it. I would love to have a nice collection if I could but till them I am really just keeping around what I am using. At this point I am going to to test the 1200.1 to see if the mono mid-bass will bug me but would like to have a higher powered option for stereo mid-bass and use the 600 as eric recomended.
