I just got this Tantrum 300.2 from a pawn shop not too long ago and I didn't get to test it at the pawn shop because their testing station was down, but I get static when I hook up a speaker. I unplugged the rca cables and it still produces static. It seems to get louder when I turn up the sensitivity too. It has static on both channels. I have not hooked the amp up in my car yet and have been testing it on an extra battery inside. I have a kicker amp and a rockford fosgate amp that I have tested on the battery and they seem to work without any problem. I have tried to turn all the dials a bunch to see if there was build up causing the static but that doesn't seem to be the case. The amp powers speakers perfectly, but there is just that background static. Is it something to worry about considering I won't hear the sub it is hooked up to in the trunk?
I opened it up to examine it closer and there seems to be a few issues that may be causing my static. I am missing a part on R27. Not sure what it is, but that may be the problem. I also have a few solder spots that look like they could use some work too. I have pics listed below.

Re: Tantrum 300.2 Static?
I tried turning the knobs a lot and it doesn't do anything. Do you think it might be a bad sensitivity pot? Or would it have something wrong in the speaker outputs?
Re: Tantrum 300.2 Static?
Sounds like a bad output section on that channel.
