Not 100% sure what this part is. It looks like a FET w/2 legs, not 3 and has the numbers on it and a symbol on it under the numbers exactly like shown below. I'll post a pic of it when I get home. I'm at work right now.

diode, so would ANY ultra fast one work as long as the forward current is the same or better???
