I know I've been asking questions about porting my new box for my RSdC122's and you guys have been plenty accommodating. Since I'm not getting ANY time off work any time soon, it's a real bitch for me to find time to construct. I was gonna build a 1.75cu per sub, tuned at 30hz, flared port box. I found a box a that I THINK should give me virtually the same perfomance that I could just buy an save myself the headache. It's 1.87cu per sub (net after port and sub displacement), slotted and tuned at 32hz. Seems like like a pretty close match to me. Would you guys agree that performance wise it would be about the same...or at least that's it's a good fit for my subs? here's the link..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-CU-FT-CUSTOM- ... d8&vxp=mtr
thanks in advance :}

what if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?

If anything, you may be able to adjust the port somehow. With different sub specs, the port tuning will change...

If you want a box that has NASA style engineering put into the design built by one of the best enclosure designers/builders in the world. that will rock you world and sound GREAT with ANY type of music goto ( pwkdesigns.com ), check it out, watch the vids of his boxes then contact Pete the acoustical engineer, hes the owner/designer/builder, 1 man show. trust me, there is NO better! He will cad design your box with proprietary software, and you can either buy plans, or he will make it for you. His wood working skills are top flight! And the box will be designed around your car specifically.
