zpa 0.5 red vs. green torrids
Why do some early version 0.5 have the red torrids and the later ones have green? Are the red ones better...
Re: zpa 0.5 red vs. green torrids
If PG had a spool of blue wire, then chances are the amps would have ended up with blue transformers...

Re: zpa 0.5 red vs. green torrids
I want just make one remark. as a owner of multiple zpa0.5's, sound wise there is no difference,
but i've noticed with the red torroids, that from time to time you hear a sharp sound, coming out of
one of the torroids itself. putting you're finger on the right spot and the sound dissapears......
I've only noticed this with red torroids, never with green ones .......
solving this problem was possible with (when the amp is not playing of course) pullling the torroid a
little bid away from the board or if this doesn't work , resolder it with more tension on the wires......
