Was digging around today and found some pics of some really nice pods I made for my Taurus. The Taurus's speakers were half covered by the dash when you closed the door which was gay. Anyway back then I had time on my hands as I wasnt working, I also had the tools and a workshop

So here they are

Started out typically with 2 cut pieces of MDF, which were held apart using brass sleeves & screws. Once that was done they were shaped, bondo'd and then shaped again

Test fit. a couple of MM spare around the edges of the tweets so that the carpet wouldnt stop them fitting

I know the speakers are crap, but back then I had no money and these were given to me free. I think I spent a total of $130 on the complete install and that included the sub and an amp hehe.

I then painted them black, cant remember why I must have been really bored lol.

And the finished item, which came out very well indeed

So there, I do have the skills but just not the time.
