anyone use the newer jl tw3 10"

Post by kg1961 »

so I just picked up a couple of these subs for a seal of a price so I had to buy them
I see the review spec they look great
not going to be a long end monster but having more movement than a old style 10w6 or the new w3 they look great.
I can also fit them in the floor of my suv and not loose any space for my set up
that is a huge plus
I just ordered a 3rd to have a 2.7 final impedance

anyone that has seen them heard them or installed them please post info thanks again I would like to hear for real people vs sales reps and pasmag.

thanks again
most of my gear is gone :liar:

these are what you mean i suppose.....

i heard those one time play, but not in a car and i was impressed about the sound and the small

enclosure they just needed.... damn, for a shallow sub that sounded great....

this is really a very good product by jl audio................

although it was the 12 inch as i remember, but a couple of 10's should definitly sound good also.....

i quess you need at least 3 of them to come to an equivalent of one of the W7 subs..........

but if space is a factor, you'll love them...............

yes that is the sub!
I only want them because I will not loose any room in my suv and with 2 little kids 1 and 3 this is a must.

I did see almost everything on YouTube I just want to see what you guys think
I'm sure I will be very happy with them 3 10" subs in a 1.5 cub box only 6 inch total height..lol I can't wait
I bought the first two for only $220cnd a girl had them in her truck and was moving needed to sell them .I met her on the way to her new house so I feel that's a steal and just ordered one more for 209.99us off ebay nib with a grill
so I think it will be great

witch amp are you going to put on it ?? quess you need around 1000-1200 w rms to feed 3 of them.....

I just ordered a 3rd to have a 2.7 final impedance...... :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

that would be great to put a heavy class AB amp on them...... it will still handle the load of almost 3 ohm....

yes the amp im using is a large older amp 2ohm stable so it will be fine
I don't have anything that would do 1 ohm before I ordered the 3rd sub.
the subs only need 200-400 rms so I think im fine
