I think my X200.4 went into the outhouse today

I was driving home and got a call and my blue tooth Pioneer picked up and was talking for about 5 min when the speakers started screetching and making all kinds of LOUD weird noises I tried turning it down no change so I powered it off. I waited a few and turned it back on to music and the base is fine but the mids and highs sound hollow like playing inside a empty tin can at half volume. I started changing some settings and it made the noise again so I just shut it off. I'm gonna try hooking up a 2 channel to the deck to rule that out as the problem. Any thoughts?

microfuse (SMD) might have blown inside the head unit....

Do try the 2 channel out to rule out the amplifier though.
