initial impressions are, WOW! awesome sound and output from a small sealed box. i am powering it from a jl 1000/1 and it sounds very good. looking forward to when it is broken in. pics soon.
i have a few old school bass cds that i play at low volume. most of the play time for the first day or so is on these cds. some play their sub free air on a home stereo with the volume very low, just enough to get some movement and let the bass cd loop all night. either way dont use a continuous test tone or sine wave, good way to burn up the coils
here is a quick camera phone pic of the setup. jl 1000/1 on the rsdc10, jl 300/2 on the polk components (which will be replaced by some rsd 6.5 comps. i also have another rsdc10 on order). as you can see, there is not a lot of space in the goat's trunk. check out the vid of the rsdc10 in action! yes, that is how my car sounds at idle; 520hp FTW!
