ZX-350 fan issue...

Post by flogger11 »

My fan on my ZX-350 doesnt turn on unless I tap on the top of the chassis, I assume the bearing in the fan is bad? Where does one go to get a replacement fan? Thanks guys~ Mike

I was recently in my ZX500 and I should of did some fan measuring

most of the fans in amps are really nothing special , just get the H x W and begin looking online or at the local computer place for a good quality fan. I am thinking of changing 2 in my bahn to some sleek ball bearing fans. You could also get some that light up different colors.

I think a basic computer's power supply fan is the same size but not sure

I know you want to be careful about the amperage, or milliamps in this case that they draw or you can hurt the fan output part of the amp. At least that's what I've been told.

Good point! i would just match all the specs listed on the PG fan itself and find a replacement @ a computer store or do your research and purchase a good one online.

Not that the PG fan is horribly loud but alot of amps do have a little fan noise and if you wanted that reduced you could purchase a real nice computer fan. I know that the PG amps fan is smaller than a computer case fan but there are so many varieties. I probablly have 10 fans laying around , some from amps and some from the puters

Have you tried PG for this part? If they have one I bet it will cost you much cheaper than that.
