Which fuses for distro block

Post by Stryker »

Hey guys,
So after reading the powercore/grid thread and not wanting to jack it i will start my own. It seems that i'm in need of a fused distro block after my cap which is a 5 farad stinger hybrid. I will be running 0 gauge from the battery to the back with a 150 amp fuse close to the battery. I will be running a 1200.1 RSD at 2 ohms and a 500.4 at 4ohms plus the bass cube and lpl44 and 215ix EQ. I want to buy the Knukonkeptz KNF-23 unit which is a 3 way mini ANL fuse holder. Question #1 what fuses should i get with this thing? I get 3 with purchase.30,40,50,60,100,120,150 now which 3 to get? and why.
Also how readibly are these available? the fuses that is... i have not seen mini's around before. haven't really looked for that matter. can i buy them at best buy etc.? Thx for the help on this one. also any other suggestions/options i may have please don't hold back.
screw car audio, I'd rather go fast....errr, wait a minute.

the mini's are the new thing and are becomming more and more common. I don't think best buy would carry them as they are a little bit a high-end item at the moment. You can find them at any regular car audio shop as they will be using them.

How big is the amp total on the fuses built into your amps? You do not NEED to go much bigger then that total but it is good to build yourself in a little bit of room.
