How much Juice for 2 RSdC10-2's in .70 sealed?

Post by madmaxz »

Hey all, have a few Q's. first question is how well will 2 of these subs play in .70ft^3 sealed each. and will my rockford t5002 getting about 1000watts at 2ohm bridged be enough. looking for good balance of SQ and SPL.

this is for a behind the rear seat of a f250 crew the enclosure has a mounting depth of 5.75" or less and .70 per side sealed im trying to get opinions and comparison between the RSDC10 and a couple other subs im looking at aswell.

Prices are for 2

RE audio SR10d2 D2-ohm - $188
Phoenix Gold RSdC102 D2-ohm - $200
JBL gto 1014 S4-ohm - $200
Aurasound NS10-513-4A S4-ohm -$214
Image Dynamics ID10D2 V.3 D2-ohm - $245
Image Dynamics IDQ10D2 V.3 D2-ohm - $295

thanks
rick

Welcome to the Phorum!

I don't personally have any experience with the RSDc line of subs yet, hopefully soon.
There are several guys on here who can make an honest comparison for you on some of the subs you've mentioned.

From what I've heard though, the subs will be plenty happy on the power you plan to give them.

That sounds like a great setup to me.

I really like the RSDC's. Out of all the subs I've run in my current install, it is by far the cleanest and best sounding of all. Blends very nicely, and does a good job of reproducing instruments.

I've had the regular RSD 10 and 12's, Xenon 12, Xmax 12's, IDMax 12, a 10W6, and a few pieces of crap not worth mentioning. The RSDC destroyed them in all of my music (predominantly metal and rap).

I don't think we've had a single person upset with them yet!
