Repair threads?

Post by Jacampb2 »

Hey folks, many of you know I do repair work full time. A good portion of my work gets posted to my Audio Tech's FB group. Would you all be interested in my crossover posting the threads here?

I get a lot of PM's on this phorum, many of them asking the same questions about parts, etc... I thought maybe having the pictures here for people to peruse might help some figure out things in their own.

Lmk if you'd like to see some repair threads. The only reason I haven't really done it before is that I don't want to seem like I'm advertising on here. I actually don't want more clients, I'm completely buried as it is with my regulars.

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks Scott, I do appreciate it. Like I said, I don't want to look like I'm advertising and I don't want to ruffle any feathers. I'm hoping it might help to get the phorum a bit more active again... If it ever gets old, I know you won't pull any punches, so just tell me to knock it off [emoji849][emoji1787][emoji23][emoji849]

anything helps. I have had a fear that one of these days I will go to log on and its gone. No reason to keep it strictly to pg as far as I am concerned show it all.

I'm also a big fan of repair threads. Always loved it. Don't know who is keeping this phorum on the air but for me it would be also a loss if this would be gone one day. There is so much info saved here and some of the threads are so good and funny to read. Maybe we should start a thread "best threads of the past"

I still think we should just try to make it an old school audio forum open to other brands. I will never admit that there are any better brands out but there are a lot of good brands and old school dudes that remember forums.

I don't especially like Facebook either, but just about every other person in the world seems to just love it, so it seems that more and more we are just being roped into it.
