Is that silver paste spread all over the aluminum insulator strips, or were your strips silver to begin with?
Got "schooled" by member shawn k on May 10th, 2011...
No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.
Hands down the forum's most ignorant member...
Don't even know what Ohm's law is...

That´s silver paste to cover the black of the strips :wink:

I highly suggest you remove all the excess paste. Exposed paste will collect dust and look very bad in a short time. It will also collect any possible wire strands. Or better yet, go with thermal pads under the devices, which look the best overall anyway.

That looks sweet Joerg! I dont suppose you could put those LEDs under the powersupply torroids as well? I think that would really make the perfect look for that amp.

I put some more LED´s in the Amp. Doing that under the torroids would look sweet but ther´s no way i could hide all the wires. I did it the way u see it in the picture below. 8)

I took one of the bussbars i had for spare and cut it to the right length so it would just slide into the gap the sink has. 8) And it doesn´t stand out too much from the rest of the boards 8)

Just got the Plexi and put it on my DFAS for the first time! Don´t know if i should go with this one or get a proper DFAS plexi. I most likely will get another one but this one looks sexy too! 8)
