rsds rock.......

plugged in the new rsd250.2 to drive a pair of rsd65cs....
this thing rocks.....
previously used JBL 4ch cs entry amp and even while brideged for 160w x2 , it cant come close to the authority and the way rsd creates music.

Now. its like the 65cs is actually workin and its so musical....

and it doesnt stop there, the previous amp was under the seat , so shorter speaker cables/RCA but the rsd is in trunk , even then it rocks..

i'm happy.....

cant wait for the rsd1200.1 and SLD to arrive.....

yes i'm a satisfied customer for sure....

only if PG had adds and brand promos like what mtx,RF,JBL,Infinity etc does crazily back here, then i would have been a proud showcase owner toooooo....

rite now except for die hard car stereo nuts ( that u dont meet on regular basis) and some guys who were in their 20's during the 90's , the rest of them got no clue what PG even stands for.....

anyway f*** that...what's important is i'm satisfied and PG rocks...

cant wait to "see" what SLD44 does to the system once injected in...

yeah I was pleasently suprised the first time I heard a pg amp. And it only gets better with a line driver. Pure sex.

That's funny. You theoretically have half the power on the RSD amp, but the speakers are playing better. That's what I like to hear

it depends on how many volts you are sending it. Do you have a multimeter.

well normal battery power, iwas talking about gain and other settings on the amp. It will be omly running the components. I have no sub.

Im sorry I should have specified. Your head unit will send a certain RCA voltage to your amp. Most ratings are not that accurate. Most recievers claim to put out 2 volts, high output heead units claim 4 to 6. Then you can also use a line driver and raise your rca voltage up to 10 volts. A multimeter is an easy way to know exactly what you are sending the amp so then you know where to set your gain. I assume, like other pg amps, that the rsd's range from 8 volts, being turened all the way down, to .02 volts, being turned up all the way. Another way to set your gains is to put a multimeter on your amps speaker outputs and adjust until you get the desired wattage. There is an easy to follow guide to setting your gains with a multimeter in the How to Section. If you cannot ge access to a multimeter I would just try to put it as close to your headunits rated voltage output. And as far as the rest goes, no bass boost if you can help it, and run the crossovers passive unless you can go without the very bottom end. You could probably cross them over at 40hz and it would be less stress on your speakers. I would but its not for everyone. You will be missing some of the bass.

Arent you putting in a LOC? If so put a multimeter on the RCAs and see what they are pushing. You could also set your amp gains with a multimeter. There is a tutorial in the how to/FAQ section.
