Have a Pheonix Gold M50 that no longer works. Upon taking a look at the circuit board I come to find the power rectifiers mounted to the heat sync seem to have shorted.
Upon visiting websites in which I source repair guides I can’t find much in the way of Pheonix Gold equipment, let alone what I’m searching.
This tells me Pheonix Gold doesn’t release what components or circuits composed in this amplifier.
Any advice upon finding the PS rectifier specifications of this Pheonix Gold M50?
PG M50 Where to find PS rectifier specs
Re: PG M50 Where to find PS rectifier specs
Are the rectifiers burned? I ask that because you should be able to pull a part number off of those rectifiers and see if there are equivalents on the internet. I have an M50 and I can check on those if you like, just let me know.

Re: PG M50 Where to find PS rectifier specs
If you tried to test the rectifiers in circuit they will always appear shorted. They cannot be tested in circuit as the transformer windings are directly across them.
Out of hundred, I can count on one hand the number of PG amps I've had with shorted power supply rectifiers. It almost never happens and for both to be gone at the same time it's pretty much unheard of.
The positive rail rectifiers are widely available. The negative rail ones are crazy hard to source.
