Just thought I would share this with the rest of the forum.
Ever had the left side of the high output drop in level, and pick up a line noise.
It happened to a mate of mine a few days ago and I had this problem on my car too.
Problem seems to eminate from the the toggle switch which control 2 or 3 way . It develops a fault and then drops the left channel , also messes about with the sub level and the freq it plays.
SO next time your A406 gives you noise, check this out.
