Heat Sinks MS-2125, MS-2250, MPS-2500
Are all of these heat sinks exactly the same ?
Or is there a difference ?

IIRC......... The sink is the same size for all of those..........
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!

I think the holes may differ alittle too....... I'm not 100% sure though.......
I know the 2250TA holes are different because they when to the bars.

I am inclined to think that perhaps the only change that would have been made would have been between like the orig -> up to the TA or use of cross support bars... as Fuzzy pointed out... like DB and I discussed in PM, it would prolly been too much of an expense/effort to have different 2125/2500/2250 sinks for dropping boards into them at that point in their mfg processes.
IOW I think they would have wanted to keep it simple... BUT I am only speculating...

That's what I am trying to avoid.....I just want to do a straight swap, so if I need a MS-2125 heatsink that is what I will get....I have plenty of time, and I want everything to look rightEric D wrote:Some of these amps have their heatsink thermal sensors in different places, so swapping out a board from one to the other may require drilling and tapping a hole on each side.

in your case DB, like i mentioned I would do is go over and take picture of the 2500 and the rev E 2125 I have (that's gonna be yours), side by side and see what's up. I think it may work, but there does stand that chance that it may not.
but it is good topic and I'm curious to know on a more broader scope.
