problem with a ti1200.1

Post by vingasoline »

Hi, I recently purchased a non-working ti 1200.1, and I am wondering if anybody here has any ideas on where to start diagnosing.. so far this is what I have

when you hook up power and ground (no remote) the three blue lights turn on..

when you apply the remote, the three blue lights turn off. seems to be backwards??

Nothing on the board looks burnt, and it doesn't have a funny smell, even after being in a box for 2 weeks.

So far that's it.. If I had a schematic, this thing would be fixed..

Any help would be appreciated..

P.S. I'm a new member, but I have been on this forum as a guest for a long time.. great place.

do u have a power supply? if so, hook the amp up to ur power supply, w/out jumping the power to remote wire and see if it turns on-if so i have the same issue with my zx350 & have never been able to figure it out???
as she walked out the door she expressed, 'enjoy your amp addiction'

it turns on without remote, and off with remote. My thoughts are a bad remote turn on relay(if there is one) or pwmic
