need to know a speaker size

I just got a call form a friend that wants speakers in his car. I usually look at crutchfield to see what fits but the website is down.

Anyone know what size speakers fit in a 96 lincoln towncar?

I would guess 5x7.

That's the size most Ford products have.

I need exact . No biggie though. I dont think this is an emergency speaker upgrade :-p

Should be a 6x9 in the rear deck and 6x8 in the front door

crutchfield is your friend here but I also agree it is probably a 5 x 7

according to crutchfield I am correct with 6x8, 6x9.
