rsdc vs rockford p3

Post by cakeDAWG »

both will be 12s in a sealed box in the truck of a fusion getting about 550 watts rms. ive heard good about both, i can go hear the rockford at best buy but cant hear the PG anywhere local. so which would be a better choice for everyday slammin. thanks

Depends on what you want.

If you want lots of higher frequency bass and maximum volume at the expense of boominess in the low end, go with the P3. If you want clean, clear bass from high to low, and plenty of volume, go with the RSDC.

Please don't buy the Rockford. I worked for Rockford. I would not buy anything made which is newer than the first Quart woofers with inverted surround, the Power HX2, and the Punch HX2. All woofers since then are not built to the same level of quality.

i agree. i used to have a single power HX2 way back when and even then, i wasn't too thrilled with it. i ended up going with an infinity perfect 12 instead. definitely go RSDc!! hell, $79 shipped through amazon...how could you NOT?
