RSD 6.5" dimensions

Post by Audiophiliac »

Can someone with a RSD 6.5" measure it to find out 2 things:

1. Overall diameter

2. Mounting diameter (distance between the mounting holes....mine uses 4 holes 90 degrees from each other)

I know 2 speaker that I have used fit perfectly with no mods to my doors. Exile XT65 and ID CX62. I am thinking of trying the RSDs if they will fit good. :) Thanks!

I am not replacing anything. I have none speakers at the moment. I had CX62s in my old GTI. Then I upgraded to the XT65s. And yes...it was an upgrade. They sounded better. :)
I want to just order another set of those and call it good. But I thought I would try some PG stuff. :) I had Xenons before and liked them...but they lacked anything below 150Hz or so.

5 11/16" over all outside dia. 5 7/16" from center of mount hole to center of mount hole Diagonally.
4 mount holes at 90 degrees.

Bummer....too small. Back to Xtecs or ID CXS v2. Seems like they fixed the problems with dust getting in the gap...that is why I sold my old CXS62. :)

I'm sorry dog, my bad. It wasn't 5 7/16" it's 5 15/16". When I wrote it down, I subtracted 1/8" per side instead of added for the mount screw holes.
