PF1NBT and PF1FPBT Battery Terminals

Post by Thumper88 »

Decided to install these new terminals today. Also upgraded my battery to chassis ground. Will be doing alternator and chassis to engine ground later.

Ordered these terminals about 3 months ago...just got the positive battery terminal about a week ago...was on backorder for what seemed forever.

I love them....currently the only Phoenix Gold item/s in my car. Needed a 200 amp MIDI fuse for the positive terminal....was very hard to find. Ordered it on eBay from a place in the United Kingdom...where oddly enough the fuses are manufactured.

they look simple and cool but I can't imagine that your ever going to get a set of jumper cables on them.

I would consider installing some small side-posts on the battery in case you need to.

There already is side post terminals? The positive post has a cover on it. Work just fine for jumping if need be.

The covers on the phoenix gold terminals come off with a simple squeeze and pull as well. Not that I would ever put a set of jumper cable clamps on them.
