that Kenwood model is a few year old now and no longer available. I have liked most of the upper-end excelon decks like this one over the years though. Only thing I didn't like about the model you pictured was the joystick type knob on the right. It was sort of awkward to use and I saw a lot of them go bad or start to rattle in bass heavy vehicles. The new excelon model that would be most comparable to that deck is the KDC-X993. It's a little bit different cosmetically but I like it better in just about every way including having bluetooth built in.

Hmmmm, rattling joystick in bass heavy vehicle..... That could become a problem as me likes me bass loud  Is 130.00USD too much for this? it is almost perfect condition. I've never had any exp. with Kenwood at all. thx for your thoughts dedly...

I use a KDC-X889 right now in my main vehicle (well, only vehicle actually), and I really like it. It is very well built and sounds great, plus it has plenty of features. My joystick works fine, but it is awkward to use while driving.
