well it turns out the girl selling it was heading my way on saturday to visit friends so she offered to meet up with me in town
well it turns out it has been mounted but apparently as a display model and she didn,t seem to be deceiving to me so I offered her 100 for a slightly used amp, and of course she agreed
all the screws for speakers etc were perfect so I might beleive the demo story either way I was able to power it up and it worked so it should work fine and look nice beside my ta1200.1 just need to get wire tomorrow and my new install will be in motion
by the way if anyone finds a pair of end caps for a tantrum amp lying around somewhere pm me with a price
