this thing was sitting on a shelf in a closet at my local shop. it needs some tlc but it will live again. the shop owner thought it was 2 ms125s together. he said it was working when he got it.

good lord.
I know that's worth well over $300, but is this the audio equivalent of the old "responding to an ad in the paper for a 65 Chevy and finding a minty corvette under a tarp in a barn" story?
"Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity."
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
i dont know it was not taken care of either. the 275 had a lot of scratches and was just sitting in the install bay on a shelf. i can ask next tomorrow if i go into town. he might not want give me a good price ,after i tell him what he let go.
i have to rub it in lol. if you are really interested i can ask. i dont think he would take like $25 or something like that but i may be wrong. he told me it would play for a second or to then shut down. i took a quick look at it and saw the leaking caps i think 2. i did not see any areas that looked burnt or a cracked board. i was assuming that the bad caps were at fault. if the 275s were not going so cheap on ebay lately i might have picked it up.
where at in IL? I just moved from Chicago (close to Lincolnwood) to grand rapids MI, but my girlfriend still lives there. If the price is right, I may be able to pick it up or at least help with shipping it if you dont want to.
I sold a few nib for 1200 and one as high as 1600. 300 is a steal and if it needs work there are a few here up to the task!!!! The msrp on them was over 2000...
