MB Quart RWE-352 15 installed pic

Post by Mackenzie »

I am looking at box specs for them. So far I have seen that they like 1.5 cubes sealed each sub. Does anyone know the ported specs, or even if they like being ported? They are so cheap, its very tempting. Would also be nice to see some ts parameters.

After S&H that's $104.98 each. I wounder how much he can knock off for multiple purchases?

I used the 12" last year. when I got them they looked so good.
made a spec size box and put them in. Im sad to say they didn't sound good. they should have been allot louder and cleaner. I sold it after having them for a month or 2
I was using my reactor and never had any problems with it so I just sold the subs. my friend had the same ones as me and they just stopped playing. checked them and it like the v/c seperated from the leads. he is now running jl and is very happy.
good luck I know you love bass but save the money and buy something you would like better.
just because its cheap doesn't mean it better

Price is not an issue, they just looked tempting.. You are the first person I have ever heard say something bad about them. Infact everyone said the exact opposite of you. At any rate, I ordered the 15 version just to see how I will like it. If I dont like it, its only 100 bux, and I can sell it. If I do like it, then I will buy 3 more. It will be here thursday.

Well I just got it yesterday, and I must say I am impressed with the build, especially for the price. From what I keep hearing kg, something must have gone wrong with your 12s. I keep hearing nothing but good things about the low end, and accuracy, but we will find out.. If I like it, then I will grab 4 total 8)

I believe this would classify as somewhat old, although not sure when these were inproduction. Rockford made these though in the usa.

I am on my phone so I will be brief. This 15 sounds great. Good low end extension, while very tight and accurate. This thing gets pretty loud too. I will definitely be getting 3 more of them. Will post some pictures and all tomorrow. Its being powered by a xenon 600.1

What???!!! No red tape?

The build looks a bit sloppy w/the glue on the surround, but other then that....

Looks can be deceiving and I'm sure it's built well.

Yea the glue on the surround was a bit messy, but atleast its nothing that could be seen. My guess is that someone just got in a hurry, or glue happy. Either way, the glue peeled right off with my fingernail. The sub looks and feels well built, and it sounds great. What is really nice, is that it goes in a small enclosure..

Update, this subs are sounding better and better. The suspension is loosening up a bit, and the low end is really starting to come. It has definately shocked people with how loud it is sealed.. clean and loud..

Btw, I just got word that this sub was in a world champion USACI SQ car last year..

Oh how I hate that shipping to Australia adds so much to these sort of things. I'd love to stuff 4 of them in a HT setup
M25 x 2, M50, M44, M100, Original MS 275, MS2125 & MS2250 (with shroud), XMax 15, White EQ215X, EQ232, PLD1,BLT, MX3, AX-406A, Basscubes, + Soundstream, Earthquake, RF, Boston, OZ Audio & KEF

This sub is still doing its job well, but I have decided to go with another setup.. I am going to go with a high powered 2 15, or preferably a 2 18 setup. 4 of these mbquarts just cant keep up with my x5, so Im getting something that can. 8)
