I see on other boards that people getting all excited about them. Why? I thought they were just another marketing company without any design engineering reusing chinese ripped off designs. Am I wrong?

Their amps look 100% not special at all. The boards are a singled sided Chinese or Korean design. The Sanken outputs are a nice touch, but it seems all the Chinese amps these days are going that route.

Hes, in w/ the the SPL crowd that follows Nick @ SI so they push sunzdown amps w/ SI subs, and people see it as a complementary item. Also so a spler about $.50 for a watt BNIB isn't a bad price.

yea nothing agaisnt him, cool guy, and his amps can take abuse.

I saw two in action, w/ bigbassman, powering two SI mags. They were strapped down to .5ohms and took it like a champ for over an 1hr straight of showing off. For most of us, not greatest stuff as we stay away from spl, but if your looking for spl not a bad choice.

He was a nice guy, but as I recall he only stuck around while he was using us as a focus group to fine tune what he was going to produce. I don't know the guy to make a judgement one way or another, but in that circumstance he stood to benefit from being nice.
