And no, I didn't get a deer. I was horn hunting more than anything and I didn't see anything worth taking this year. We did see a few good ones, but there was no way I was going to get them with a muzzle loader at that range. There were 4 of us hunting in our party and so far only one of us got a deer. The hunt lasts until Wednesday and there are still 2 hunters still on the mountain in our party.
I was spending a lot of time hunting and not a lot taking pictures so I only got a few. Here is the best of the bunch. The first day we were up there was a day before the hunt and we went out scouting. By the time we got back to camp it was getting dark and I managed to take this pic of the sunset. It was pretty damn cool looking!!
