first install ,PG rsdc's and hifonics 4 channel

Post by schroedes »

my first real install, used 1/0 power and ground, kicker distro blocks, kicker 4 ga going to amps, PG ryval v800 for subs,Hifonics 4 channel for the Hifonics 6x9s and 6.5in components, subs are 12'' PG rsdc's, 8 farad cap, big three upgrade with 4awg tsunami wire, groundshaker box, sealed with 1.25 cu ft each chamber, double layer of FatMat throughout trunk. system sound great,PG subs are awesome, doesnt matter if im pounding rap and theyre shaking my car,or im listening to some SRV, subs always perform, and the hifonics have great mids and highs, buddy helped with the wood work and carpeting, let me know what you think, thanks

Yea just wondering why you went with the ryvval instead of getting the RSD1200.1 to match the subs. Then you would be getting 600+ rms to each sub and really make them come alive. I know I had a RSD600.1 hooked up to one of them and I loved it.

But besides that, your install makes me jealous. I mean it is sooo clean. And looks really good. And so symmetrical. I like it. Mine will look ghetto compared to yours. haha.

I like that you have the supercharged version. I have always wanted to race that car. What are you puttin out to the wheels. I like twin screw superchargers as well. Especially KenneBell. The wine will make people scared! I have a 99 mustang GT supercharged 400ish rwhp. Centrifugal. Love it.

Very nice install! Looks like a lot of time and thought went into laying it all out properly.

nice work!!! not too be picky but is the sub on the right tilted a bit from the other one? Looks like alot of time and effort was put into this, looks very tight. I would have liked to see all matching carpet but thats just me. Now go enjoy popping that trunk lid for all the on lookers at the grocery store. I always get people walking by and double looking when I'm loading the grocery's in. lol
screw car audio, I'd rather go fast....errr, wait a minute.

thanks guys, ya that wire is for the spoiler brake light, and ya i noticed the one sub was tilted a little more than the other, imeant to tilt em but got it a little off! lol its gona bug me now, i mainly went with the ryval because of the cost,it still makes these subs thump, about 400 rms to each, i was gona get a PG 4 channel but i had a hard time finding it at a good price, spendy! the Hifonics stuff really exceeded my expectations though, great amp and mids and highs, we were gona go all gray with the carpet but i thought the color difference would look better since everything is gray and black, must say these are good subs though, doesnt matter what kind of music

Just be careful not to play them into distortion......that kills subs quick.
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
