this was the worst tease I have ever seen man........ like I said fellas don't hold your breath and keep your expectations low so you will not be disappointed. I wouldn't be suprised if they re-badge the latest stuff and hope they can perfom like a jensen...
hey morgan, how about you go hit up an AA meeting with a case of beer or something? But make sure you poke holes in all of the cans so when the run up and grab them looking all excited that they will look silly since they are empty. Same thing but at least you would get to enjoy it in person....

LAME...
Since when was PG an SPL company? Go ahead and make 10kW or even 100kW amps if you must, but don't forget the vast majority of your customers want something to power their door speakers and a sub or two with authority and accuracy, not something to power their city block...
Sorry man, I just let you guys in on what I know. There will certainly be more than what was outlined above.Eric D wrote:AAMP217 wrote:I am not sure where this thread is headed but I have seen and heard of the new prototypes at topping 10k watts.![]()

PG (in my eyes) has always been a great power and even better SQ line of amps.
I really think SPL is dead/dying.........sad to say as I'm a "Bass-Head"
but true. Ofcoarse there are still tons of consumers buying large amps and tons of subs (ages 15-25) but I've seen more cars setup for SQL around here for the last 5 or so years. In my older age (30
) I've traded in my 4-12's/3000watts for 2 12's and a kickass 3-way front stage.
Just my opinion and 2 cents.

Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
Gents,
Ok let's get down to business. Guys....
1. Settle down a bit. The post says "Sneak Peek" not spill all the beans. You guys and this forum are important to us we want the die hard guys involved and give us feedback on new product. We will release information weekly leading upto CES for your feedback.
2. AAMP "gets" it when it comes to Phoenix Gold. If they wanted to be in the "race to zero" amp and speaker business they would have just slapped a name on a heatsink and dustcap years ago. Instead they understand value of bringing a quality product to market.
3. Really, even if it was true, complaining about a PG 10k amplifier?
OK, it time to end the starving for the PG die hards...
Below are two pics:
- Yes, the original PG logo is back. The amplifier well more to come on that.
- PCB layout shown is a quasi M/MS/Ti design. This is a big four channel with layout similar to Ti or M series, but it has MS style dual power supplies and loaded with caps and output transistors.
- 2010 new amplifiers will have 4+ monoblocks that make 1000 watts or more. 2+ four channel amplifiers that make 100 watts x 4. Hope you like old school/big power amps...

IF they have the bottom of the amp see thru aka plexi like in that 2nd pic, omfg that would be sooo sexy. Showing off the wonderful internal of the amp. I love that. It is so different but sexy.
