Ok...here are a few more pics to give you an idea of what I am doing with the fans and some more of the install.....

the top fans will sit at the top of the rack and will be beveled to blow all the air down into the gap and under the rack....they will force a lot of clean and cool air down so that the fans that are actually under the amp will force the cool air into the fins....under the phoenix gold plate there will be a series of fans that will pull all the warm air back out

the single fan that is under the end of the amp simply pulls mixed air down into the well so that the two other fans have enough clean air to efficiently keep enough air down under to be able to direct the other two fans air up...forcing all the air in the rack up and into the fins and then down the length of the fins....otherwise the air may not move with enough force to keep the fins cool. That is the eventual plan...for now I am being very easy on the amps....nearly no gain...but with the amount of power the amps are producing as configured I don't need any....too much over head in all reality...

does this make sense folks? you may be able to see the cutout lines on the plates that are on top of the plexi's....so the upper assembly will just pull out but they will display some of the amp....not much but this isn't about pretty for me....won't look like booty....as it will show when the upper cover is off....over the fans on top I am making a couple grills out of some xenon crossover covers and the fans all light up blue so there will be some glow down there but for the most part none of what you see now will show in the finished product....the phoenix gold plate will not show either....I am using it as a template now to cut the logo in 3/4 inch and will wrap it all in speaker grill covering so it will only show via the noen under it and the fans will be split and be sealed up for efficiency....

I hope this gives you a better idea of what I am doing....simple...no...but it should be pretty cool and those amps sound oh so much better then the ti amps did on the highs....much better configuration....

the ti amp seen is not going to be there...if I was going to run them I would throw another in and run a 1200.1....one to each sub...but the ti's are on their way out.....I prefer the ms....

hey dave....actually...it won't really be seen. I am going to paint it black and wrap it with grill cloth. You'll only see the pg coming thru the neon under glowing up through it....should be pretty cool

How is the truck holding up these days dave?

Its doing well, when the dqs came back from audiocontrol it took care of the issue of the epic sounding like crap, it sounds good now- the dqs sits above the dd5 now, totally acessible- just picked up a kinetik 1800- so I will put that in this weekend- between that and the 800, should take care of the battery situation-

Good deal....don't think you'll need a bigger alt.?....the intrepid is not in a good way. I think the injectors are going and I need to pull the motor to replace the pan and front and rear main seals. Probably going to end up with another car soon....will keep the intreped and slowly put the money into it and finally get the shot to strip it all the way down and get the system in fully at once...

got too much into the electrical system in that to just dump it and the alt won't fit shit else but the intrepid, stratus, or an older three hundred....

not the greatest timing...but when the hell is it.

Nice....that thing just SCREAMS display me.

But if you want a functional trunk and not have to buy any material I see where you're coming from.

You could always add a plexi window to it down the lone.

I like the idea of stealth/show that can switched back and forth in seconds.
