simple, easy to remember......

my brother is a good artist both in paint and on computer. My favorite painting he made was of my iguana cuervo years ago. I can run it by him to see what he would think. Wish it was worth a cyclone to ya but would still be happy to help.

here are some pic's of how the oven build is coming- will have more here shortly... camera battery died in middle of taking pic's.

but this should give you some idea of what it will/is going to look like.

oven build inside dimension

5.5 H x 3.5 w x 1.5 d

ANYTHING CAR AUDIO RELATED will fit in there... from MS1K to OUTLAW>>> and 4 17" rims as well....

then i will have the larger oven (8' x 6 x 5.5H) for larger batch/item runs.

okay guys just as an update....

1) Got the soon to be larger oven all framed out (see pic's)- just now needs to be wired up and insulated...(which I have the insulation and the components should be here today (excited!)

2) Also some additional pic's of samples and around the shop... YES it is a mess... but alot going on right now...

3) Joergs Franked Clamp bars -

4) also wanted to show off (if i have the pic's here) the arcade games I have in shop too. One of the upright games has 48 different games on it- old school stuff (i.e. dig dug 1 & 2, tempest, missile command, pacman, ms. pac man, Qix, Zaxxon, 1942/1943, all kinds of stuff...) so it's nice to have in the shop... will prolly keep them in waiting room/lobby for folks to use when things get really rolling... free game play while you wait for part or whatever. (sorry guys no pics of games on computer right now- think they're at home) but whatever...

ALSO as an update for those that are waiting for their stuff... just as a courtesy... and i realize your not pressed but just like to keep you updated. I am going to wait for the larger oven to get buttoned up to do any sinks that are the 2125/2250 or larger as the smaller oven makes it really difficult to do. 2125/2250 could be done in the smaller oven, but it is a tight fit, and would hate to have to do a re-do if something doesnt come out just right. the larger oven I can shoot & cure like 4 sinks all at once - MS1k, and ms475 (2250 sink) and even some other stuff.... with out any issues/headaches/haggling over space... just wanted to share that specifically for Joerg, and Itchy... Itchy your cover is all set as I could hang that and it is actually like 1/2" to an 1" less wide so it was easily hung and and baked....PLUS/BUT I will be re-doing it w/ the more natural blue (OEM Blue) flake versus whats on there now.

yeah- i said the same thing to myself... and guys that come through there at the shop- they all say it loks like a professional type of oven that you would buy from fab shop-

maybe i'll add custom oven building on business card-

TBH- only thing i did not do my self is the bending and cutting of the sheet metal... but did all the rest- worked on the wiring last night- should be just another week or so- and it'll be baking powder coated amps!!!

I can't beleive you would want to build an oven yourself to be honest. I just know it would end up too hot or soemthing else stupid would happen if I made it. arn't you afraid of causing a fire?

hi temp insulation, galvanized steel, and metal racks... all make for a safely built oven... It's actually been pretty straight forward, OF COURSE there is still the wiring aspect, but i have a professional oven builder that has been guiding me along somewhat- i will be on phone with him tonight to do the wiring... but for the most part, it's actually prolly safer than buying used as you (I) know how it was put together and know for sure it was done right and nothing is wrong with it.

There will be a controller to control the temp, all kinds of bells and whistles - timers, etc... the relays sit on a heat sink and there is also a circuit breaker just as with our amps and stuff. - and my landloard is an electrician- if something is real big wrong, i will have him look it over.

at first i thought to myself no way could i build an oven... but after looking on the foums and seeing other ppl doing it with great results... I mean basically an oven is simply an insulated metal box with heating elements.

it will run 240v think 11 or 15 amps per element (of which there will be two 3500watt elements)...just like in your kitchen oven

elements are installed...
now just the wiring on the outside of the box-

Elements lift up as you can see in the first pic, for easy cleaning, just like you would have in a kitchen oven- getting pretty excited about this now guys!!!

* note dont mind that piece of brown rusty looking thing in/on the middle of the elements- thats a piece of brown packing tape- it'll burn off when i do my maiden voyage firing up - gonna run it upwards of 650/700* for about an hour to burn anything that should/would/could be burned off- so when i back powder @ 400*, there wont be any issues. The grey paint may or may not burn off- but i'll find out when i fire her up!

Matt everything is looking so sweet. Can your new oven hold say a 20" Rim? I may have a set that could use a new coat....say flat black or something? How much would a job like that cost anyways?

price sheet attached.

yes I can fit 20" rims in there- might have to go in two different "loads", meaning prolly not all 4 at same time, but def 2 @ a whack!

note the discount savings plan at bottom.... for 4 or more rims jobby job... your headache would be the shipping... prolly 80 to ship a pair to me. BUT
I would be happy to dop them for you

I just got in some Super Durable Wet Black PC- IT IS BANGING!

I did a PG Sign last night in it... i'll have pic's up in short bit

You might want to change the statement at the end:

"Full set of of 4 rims or more gets 15% total powder coating bill;"

That's actually saying if you do four or more the bill is 15% of what it would normally be. You want something like:

"Full set of 4 rims or more receives a 15% discount off total powder coating bill;"
