I too have a soft spot for older Zed amps. His US Acoustics amplifiers were the first "real" ones I have seen... before that I thought Xplod was the bees knees.

I know Zed made the Hifonics and US Acoustics amps. I know he had a finger in Lanzar as well, possibly your Opti amps. We pretty much all love the same guy (Stephen Mantz, aka Zed Audio)!

Yea, I read on the ebay auction on the 50c "designed by ZED", but it's been so long ago, I wouldn't remember.

NICE, and NICE, and NICE, and.....VERY NICE.
Still have a white colossus series VIII in my closet, the one with the big [white] resistors in the end-section...
they seem to be better than the ones with the small resistors in them.?
[do you have any knowledge of that?]
nice pic;

not sure on the resistors, i thought the later white ones wern't as good as the early blue anodised ones on a reliability note, could have heard wrong though!

the "secret list" is ebays new policy on items over 200. they say its to protect us....but we suspect its so they can turn a blind eye on shill bidding
