My wife has a very serious question. We are going to be watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics on the 12th and she needs to know something.

Poutine is awesome if it's made right. Poutine is definitely heart attack in a bowl.
Originally from Quebec, it's hot, hot hand cut fries with cheese curds and a good, thick, homemade beef base gravy on top. Hot fries will melt the cheese for a minute or two before the gravy topping.
A lot of wannabe restaurants try to get away with jarred gravy and/or shredded mozza cheese. Just a bowl of muck.
It's pronounced pooteen, where as pooten is also a nice snack. That's where she pees...... en francais......

I'll bet she didn't laugh at that.......................... I'd have a $2000 a week habit if I had to pay the wife $400 a whack....... That's almost worse than a coke habit.....
